Shipping Policy

At Motor Dock Marine, we arrange shipping for used outboard motors to customers throughout the United States and internationally. Because marine engines are large and heavy items, shipments are handled through freight carriers experienced in transporting marine equipment safely and efficiently.

Shipping Rates

Flat Rate Shipping (U.S. Orders): $199 per order
This covers standard freight delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.

Flat Rate International Shipping: $300 per order
We offer a flat international shipping rate of $300. This covers standard freight handling and export processing. Depending on destination country regulations, customs duties, taxes, or import fees may still apply and are the responsibility of the customer.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

Once the order has been prepared and scheduled with the freight carrier, a shipping confirmation will be provided with available delivery details and tracking information when applicable.

Order Cut-Off Time

Orders placed before 2:00 PM Central Time (CT), Monday through Friday, are typically processed the same business day.

Orders placed after the daily cut-off time, on Saturdays, Sundays, or on recognized holidays will be processed on the next available business day.

Delivery Time

Most deliveries within the United States arrive within 3–7 business days after shipment.

International delivery times may vary depending on destination country, customs processing, and freight carrier schedules.

Freight Delivery Information

Outboard motors are typically shipped on a pallet or within protective freight packaging to help reduce the risk of transportation damage.

Freight carriers deliver to the shipping address provided at checkout and may contact the customer directly to schedule a delivery appointment or delivery window when required.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the shipping address is accurate and accessible for freight delivery.

Delivery Inspection

Customers should inspect the shipment carefully upon delivery.

If the packaging or motor appears damaged, please note the issue with the freight driver before signing for the shipment and contact us as soon as possible.

We also recommend taking photos of the shipment upon arrival to assist with freight claims if needed.

Shipping Coverage

We offer a flat-rate shipping fee of $199 per outboard motor for deliveries throughout the United States. This rate applies to all U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii, with no additional shipping charges based solely on destination.

Orders are shipped using trusted freight carriers, and the final delivery method may vary depending on the size, weight, and specifications of the outboard motor. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary based on carrier schedules and destination.
